Le Creperie Paris

When I was a young child, I have always been fond of the French – their language, food and culture. In fact, I took basic french language courses through a childish software (YouTube and the proliferation of the information of the internet were not yet available). Last week, I went to this place called Le Creperie Paris in Cebu City particularly at Juana Osmena Avenue. If you are coming from the Capitol Area, turn right to the street where Mang Penong’s Chicken is located. The chicken restaurant is quite big so won’t miss it. Just go straight and you’ll see the eiffel tower as posted above or look for homebakers pastry shop for reference.

The ambiance is so Francois. They have this dimly lit feel with antique furniture plus they play French music on the background. The moment I went in, I felt like I was in a romantic French movie. It’s perfect for hanging out to chill and spend a date with a special someone.

True to its name, they serve quality crepes that aren’t that quite pricey. I wasn’t able to take a photo of their menu but their crepes ranged from P95 – 150. You may also choose the toppings on your crepe if you have a creative intuition for this type of food. They have savory and sweet crepes. Of course, I want to taste the sweet ones! Me and my companion Ate Bon got the La Glace Caramel (Salted Caramel, Almond nuts and Ice Cream) and the La Chocolat-Caramel (Dark Chocolate and Salted Caramel). When I first took in a bite, it was heavenly!

Of course, I would truly recommend this place to those who want to have a sweet snack with a long conversation. They also have coffee and tea to accompany the sweet bliss. A new Cebu experience!
